It's obvious that the brand on the right (though beautiful,) is biting the Barton aesthetic. Perhaps the "intention is/was unintended" regardless, unless you're a fitness facility 1%-er avoid the Boutique Design aesthetic at all costs less you want to appear to be a Barton wanna-be.
"A gym brand should NEVER be a wanna be....a gym brand should be an ONLY be" Cuoco Black
The Read: The Barton target demographic is the luxury sector. The luxury demographic is a savvy consumer possessing a wide range of luxury product experience. Without reservation the luxury consumer will first identify the aesthetics of the gym on the right as Boutique Design, and second, reminiscent of the Barton style....which says nothing about their brand, and that alone should be reason enough to avoid the Boutique Design aesthetic.
