In the context of fitness facility design, what emotional triggers does your reception area communicate to prospects and members who enter your gym? If your facility employs any of the design features illustrated above, embraced by virtually thousands of gym brands, and Home Depot's kitchen design department, then you have just telegraphed the "better sameness" trigger which is the design weapon of choice in the fitness arena.
